Q: We will be having
beautiful floral centerpieces on all of the tables at our reception. There
will be so many I don’t know what we will do with all of them. Do you have
any ideas?
A: There are several ways to
effectively utilize the centerpieces after the reception is over. Have a
person from each table take one home. To avoid any confusion, mark one
chair at each table by placing a piece of masking tape on the underside of
the chair. This works well and can be easily removed. This guest is the
chosen recipient; however, they in turn can give it to someone else if
they choose. Make the announcement to have your guests check their chairs
during a sit down portion of the reception, such as when the meal is being
served.
If there were special guests that could not attend the wedding, arrange
for a centerpiece to be delivered to them, along with a note from you.
Additionally, I would suggest delivering them to a local nursing home or
hospital, where they would also be much appreciated. Best Regards,
Andi
