Q:
Can a bachelor party be for more than one night? We were thinking about
going out of town, doing some fishing, then a heavy duty party at night.
We’ll make a camping weekend out of it, just us guys and the good old
outdoors!
A: You’ve got a great idea! It
is perfectly acceptable to make your party last a little longer than one
night. You deserve a break from all the hectic wedding planning, just as
much as your sweetie does. Keep in mind, you and your buddies’ budgets,
and also availability. I would start planning this well in advance, to
make sure you all can get away at the same time. Also, it is really
important to keep your fiancé informed of all your plans, and make sure
she is comfortable with them. In fact, she just might want to do the
“bachelorette” thing that same weekend. You two will have a lot to talk
about after the weekend is over! You might even have to plan a future fish
fry! Have a great time!
